It is time to register for the 2012 softball season. Last year, over 200 girls played on the 16 teams in the five recreational divisions. The League is open to any girl in grades K through 12, who lives in Niskayuna or attends a Niskayuna school.

Registration for the 2012 season will take place online through the town of Niskayuna. The cost to participate is $75 for all divisions.

You must register by March 30, 2012 in order to secure a place on a team. We can only have as many teams as we have coaches. If you do not register on time you will be placed on a waiting list and will only be able to play if there is room on a team. Late registration will incur a $25 late fee. The Niskayuna Girls Softball League and its activities are not part of, nor is it endorsed by, the Niskayuna Central School District. As noted registration will take place online. For in person registration please contact Lori Poretti at Niskayuna Town Hall. The season begins the last week of April (weather permitting) and will end approximately the third week of June. Information concerning practices will be distributed in early April.

Please note that weekday games if rained out will be played the following day. As an example if Monday's game is rained out it will be played on Tuesday.

Team shirt, visor and celebration are all included in the registration fee. The t-shirt and visor will be provided at the beginning of the season.

Coaches are needed for all levels. We can only have as many teams as we have coaches. Half the registration fee will be retrned to those who coach.
