6U (K - 1st Grade)
Begins with basic skills of throwing, catching, fielding, base-running and hitting.
Coach pitched and after 5 pitches if ball is not hit, a tee is used. A small (11") softball is used. Score is not kept, and all players play.

8U (2nd - 3rd Grade)
Players hit pitches thrown by a coach. A small (11") softball is used. The emphasis is on reinforcing and developing basic skills with introduction of ASA Rules.

10U (4th - 5th Grade)
A small (11") softball is used. Players pitch, with a coach pitching after four balls. ASA rules apply with some modifications.

13U (6th - 8th Grade)
A full sized (12") softball is used. Players throw all pitches. Games last 7 innings, baselines are increased to 60 feet. Season standings are kept and playoff games are held at the end of the season. All U13 players will be required to have a mouth guard for every game. Girls playing pitcher, first base and third base are required to wear mouth guards during play.

17U (9th - 12th Grade)
Pitchers pitch from 40'. ASA umpires officiate. The dropped third strike rule is in effect. Players may steal a base after the pitch leaves the pitchers hand. Other ASA fastpitch softball rules are in effect. All 17U players will be required to have a mouth guard for every game. Girls playing pitcher, first base and third base are required to wear mouth guards during play.
