Games begin at 6:00PM with no inning beginning after
8:00PM.

Games should be minimally 4 innings in
length. Additional innings may be played at the agreement of both
managers. All players must field a minimum of 2 innings.

Players should make every effort to wear their team
shirt. No jewelry may be worn.

Managers will require all players to place their name
on any equipment ( particularly gloves and bats ) that they bring to
the game.

The HOME team, as indicated on the schedule, is
responsible for providing and setting up the bases and providing the
game ball. The distance from home plate to the mound is 30 feet.
Base paths are 45 feet.

Managers/coaches are not allowed on the field unless
they are the designated pitcher.

Managers from both teams will serve cooperatively as
the umpire.

For the first half of the season, the
manager/designated parent will pitch to his/her own team. During
the second half of the season, 4th graders will pitch to
the opposing team. If there is no action (hit, out or strike out )
after 5 pitches, the manager/designated parent will pitch the
remainder of this at bat. The player pitching becomes a fielding
pitcher and resumes “real” pitching for the next batter.

A pitcher may be inserted once into the game. Other
players, including a player playing another position, may be
inserted into the game as often as the manager wishes.

If a ball is accidentally caught by the opposing
pitcher/coach, it is a dead ball and the batter hits again. This
does not apply when a player is pitching.

There will be 9 players in the field. They consist
of 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, C, P, and 3 outfielders. Outfielders must play
15 feet behind the base path. All fielders should be reminded to
stay out of the base path.

A catcher must wear a helmet, mask with throat guard,
chest protector, and shin guards.

Score shall be kept.

An inning shall end when 3 outs are recorded or 5
runs are scored.

No Balls or strikes shall be called. Three swinging
strikes are a strikeout and the batter is out.

All players on the team shall bat whether they played
that inning or not. A batting order shall be maintained be each
team and that line-up shall remain the same from inning to inning.

Batting helmets must be worn at all times when batter
is on deck, batting or on base.

If a batter throws a bat, she will be warned by her
manager. If a second instance occurs during that game she will be
called out.

Runners may advance until the ball is returned to the
fielding pitcher. Runners may advance one base on a ball out of
play.

Stealing is not allowed.
